Hawk’s Hydrocarbon Resin is a C5/C9 aromatic hydrocarbon used in industrial applications and has a tackifying effect. It is suitable for use in paint, printing ink, adhesives, rubber, epoxy resins and other areas where tackiness is required. Our C5 Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon resin is obtained from cracking C5 and followed by hydrogenation, to achieve high -quality, multi-purpose water-white thermoplastic Hydrocarbon Resin. C5 Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin is mainly used for hot-melt adhesives, hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive tackifiers. Our product has the property of good thermal stability, low odour, and good compatibility with SIS, APAO, etc.
Hawk’s C5 Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin finds application in non-woven fabrics field, as a production caking agent in materials like disposable diapers and sanitary napkins, as a tackify resin used in hot melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, sealants;and for a variety of rubber systems as a thickening aid, plastic modification additives like OPP thin additives, polypropylene, ink additives and waterproofing agent. The C9 Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin is water-white thermoplastic resin
obtained from polymerizing of Aromatic C9 followed by hydrogenation. It is widely applied in hot melt adhesive(HMA),pressure sensitive adhesive(PSA) because of its good heat resistance and good compatibility with base polymer such as SIS,EVA,SBS,SEBS,polyolefins.
